The Glasgow band have had a great career since they formed in 1980s.

Wet Wet Wet, Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Marti Pellow have sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date. They featured in the UK official singles and album charts for not less than 508 weeks. Also the band have played to more than four million people in over 25 countries around the world.

Wet Wet Wet set a record in 1995 when they played ten sold out shows at Glasgow’s SECC and were officially the most popular live act in the UK.

In 2012, the band played Glasgow Green for a sold out 25th anniversary concert.

The frontman, Marti Pellow, said: “We’ve had some great times whilst playing in Ireland over the last twenty five years as the atmosphere generated by the audiences in Dublin is special”.

The drummer, Tommy Cunningham, added: “We’ll be making up for lost time at this concert as we’ve not been there since 2004, so we’ll be playing a greatest hits based set meaning everybody should get to hear their favourites”.
