The 1975 to play The Academy in September
The 1975 announce a show at The Academy Dublin on September 30th. They have also announced a date for Mandela Hall, Belfast on October 1st.
Tickets for The Academy gig priced at €14.50 go on sale on May 3rd at Ticketmaster.
This is an all-ages 14+ show and no alcohol will be served at the bar.
Pre-ordering The 1975’s album via the band’s website before the end of Wednesday, May 1st, gives special access to a ticket pre-sale here on Thursday, May 2nd.
The 1975 are a Manchester art-pop quartet. They recently supported Two Door Cinema Club across Europe in countries like: Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Holland and others. They also played a few shows at SXSW and had a Top 20 hit with “Chocolate”.
Their EPs, “Facedown”, “Sex” and “Music For Cars” have had over 1.5 million plays on Soundcloud.
They will release a new single “The City” on May 20th. The 1975 are introduced to the world as “Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record”.
