Kimya Dawson to play Button Factory Gig

Grammy Award winner and ex-Moldy Peaches member, Kimya Dawson is set to take to the Button Factory on Sunday, November 10th.

Some may know her as the maestro behind the Juno soundtrack and having released 7 albums and becoming a platinum selling artist, Kimya is heading for irish shores for a Dublin gig. Her last album, “Thunder Thighs” was released in 2011 and was self-released. The album features guest spots from artists such as Aesop Rock, members of the Strokes, Mountain Goats, Forever Young Senior Citizen Rock and Roll Choir and even Kimya’s 5-year old daughter, Panda. Rolling Stone Magazine have noted her as straddling “the line between precious and profound”.

Tickets are priced at €15 and go on sale this Friday, August 16th on Ticketmaster.
