The Guinness Jazz Festival is back in Cork for another year. The fest which traditionally takes place in October each year, is back again and with an even bigger and better line-up than before. The festival attracts visitors from all across the globe and is renowned as one of Europe’s top jazz festivals. In the past, it has attracted names like Ella Fitzgerald, Herbie Hancock and Dizzy Gillespie and this year, it’s line-up certainly lives up to the standard.

Date:

The festival will take place from Friday October 25th – Monday 28th this year.

Location:

The Guinness Jazz Festival takes place in venues across Cork City. Venues include Cork Opera House, The Everyman, Triskel Christchurch and Triskel Auditorium. Directions to all of these venues can be found by clicking here.

Other Info:

Please note that the festival also boasts a range of free events and entertainment including a Jazz Bar at The Everyman on the 26th & 27th from 2pm-5.30pm, a host bands ensuring the music is flowing throughout the streets of Cork throughout the weekend and of course the Fringe Festival, details of which are yet to be announced.
