The support to Lil’ Wayne at the O2 has been confirmed

Last night, before Hoodie Allen took to the stage, The Academy hosted a battle of Irish up and coming rappers, fighting for the chance to support Lil Wayne at The O2 next month.

Lil Wayne will play the O2 on October 9th and you could win a pair of tickets to the show.

Rappers from all over Ireland entered the competition hosted at The Academy last night. Each of them had a couple of minutes to prove they deserve to support Lil Wayne. In the end, three of them were announced as winners: Maimouma Salif from Galway, Aoife Crockett from Cork and Marvell from Dublin.
