Teen-Line Charity Single to be Launched with Academy Gig
Teen-Line are set to release their new charity single written by Luke Clerkin and Gavin Doyle tonight. The song was written by the duo following the effect Ireland’s incredulously high teen suicide rate had on them. The song “Never Alone” will be debuted tonight, Tuesday, August 3rd at The Academy Dublin. Doors open at 6.30pm.
The line-up will include JJ Jupiter (+ guests), Hidden Plans, Second Harmony, Bagels, 48 Hours and Clover Coast, and the launch will see support from a surprise guest Leinster Rugby player, Finbar Furey, Jemson Green, magician Steve Spade, Bipolar Empire and many more!
The single will be available for download for just €1.29 from next week onwards and all proceeds will go to Teen-Line, a confidential listening support service for teens in Ireland. The aim is to raise €100,000, the amount it costs to run this service for a year. The team have seen a 60% increase in calls since 2006 and they need all the help they can get.
Remember, should you need to talk to someone, you can phone Teen-Line Ireland for free at 1800 833 634 or for more information you can visit teenline.ie.
