Lisa O’Neill to grace Whelans Stage

Lisa O’ Neill have announced a headline show at Whelans for October 19th.

The gig follows the release of her new studio album “Same Cloth Or Not”, the night before and will showcase the brand new material from this raconteuse. Hailing from Cavan, the mesmerising folk singer is renowned for her witty story-telling and lyrical poetics within her songs. She headed to Wicklow, for some good old winter cottage isolation to record this album with David Kitt taking the reigns as producer. Following the Whelan’s show, she will take off on a nationwide tour with Glen Hansard and follow that up with a UK tour with James Yorkston. Expect onstage banter, enthralling song-writing, and sheer and utter charm.
