Blue confirmed as Special Guests for Wet Wet Wet
90’s boy band heartthrobs Blue have been confirmed as very special guests to Wet Wet Wet at their upcoming 02 show.
Blue will join Wet Wet Wet on Thursday, December 5th at Dublin’s O2 venue as part of their Greatest Hits Tour. Having sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, Blue are back with their first studio album in over a decade. Having previously worked with Stevie Wonder and Sir Elton John, the boys have a lot to live up to for their comeback. Lee, Antony, Simon and Duncan have just released the second single from their album, “Break My Heart”. It seems to be a year of comebacks this year, so no better excuse to put Blue and Wet Wet Wet on the same stage.
Wet Wet Wet are around a little longer, having burst onto the scene in 1987 and still managing to maintain their spot as one of the best selling UK acts of all time, 26 years later. Their latest tour will see them perform a selection of their Greatest Hits in Dublin’s 02, for one night only and your viewing pleasure. In total, they’ve featured in the UK Official Single & Albums charts for 508 weeks. Can’t argue with success like that, eh?
