Future Islands add extra Vicar Street date
With their first show selling out within 48 hours, Future Islands have added an extra date in Vicar Street on November 3rd.
The Baltimore band have seen their fanbase explode in size with the release of their latest album ‘Singles’. The album has been hailed by OMD’s Andy McCluskey as an album where Future Islands have ‘finally distilled their art into such a winning formula’.
They also received plaudits for their recent performance of ‘Seasons (Waiting On You)’ on the David Letterman show, a performance that McCluskey believes ‘makes careers’.
With the band on a seemingly unstoppable upward trajectory, this may be the last chance for Irish fans to catch Future Islands in such an intimate venue.
Tickets cost €20 and will go on sale on Monday 28th April at 9am.
