Picture House to release new single ‘Hello’
Picture House will release a new version of their single ‘Hello’ as part of their new deal with UK label Cherry Red Records. The single will be released on 23 June and will be followed by a newly remastered and repackaged version of their album ‘Evolution’ which will be released on 28 July.
Picture House initially enjoyed huge success in the late 90’s, with their single ‘Sunburst’ being the most played song on Irish radio in 1998 but the pressure of self-funding all of their endeavours eventually told and they went on a hiatus that lasted almost a decade. But now they’re back with ‘Hello’, a song co-written by frontman Dave Browne and Swedish producer Lasse Anderson.
The band will be playing the Button Factory on 30 July to celebrate the launch of the album. Tickets for that gig are on sale now.
