Sharon Shannon to play debut album in Whelan’s

sharon-shannonAs part of the Revisited Series, Sharon Shannon will play her self-titled debut album in its entirety in Whelan’s on Sunday 22 June.

Shannon will be accompanied on the night by Alan Connor on piano, electric guitar and percussion. As well as playing her entire debut album, the set will also feature songs from Shannon’s extensive back catalogue. Somewhat of an Irish institution at this stage, Sharon has collaborated with artists as diverse as Sinead O’Connor, Shane McGowan, Steve Earle and Dawn Penn. She is also the youngest ever recipient of the Meteor Lifetime Achievement Award.
