karl-broderickIrish songwriter Karl Broderick has been nominated for ‘Creative Project of the Year’ in the RU.TV awards, Russia’s equivalent of the Grammys.

A Russian translation of his song ‘Another You’, sung by pop star Catrine, will fight it out with the other nominees at a glitzy ceremony in the 7,500 capacity Crocus City Hall in Moscow on 31 May. Broderick has previously had his song ‘Love?’ performed by Donna and Joseph McCaul in Eurovision 2005 while his ‘The Movie Song’ came second in the competition to represent Ireland in this year’s Eurovision.

With all of that Eurovision experience behind him he certainly has the pop chops and he says that he’s been inundated for material from other stars on the back of the success of ‘Another You’.

We wish him the best of luck on Saturday. Have a listen to the song below and let us know what you think of it.
