slintPost-rock pioneers Slint have just announced a show in the Button Factory which will take place on Tuesday 19 August.

The band have recently released a box-set edition of their seminal album ‘Spiderland’. This was their second and final album as the band broke up just before the release of the album. In spite of this, the album is still viewed as a masterpiece and has seen Slint hailed as a major influence on the math-rock and post-rock genres. The band reunited in 2005 and have been touring sporadically ever since.

A documentary called ‘Breadcrumb Trail’ focusing on ‘Spiderland’ and directed by Lance Bangs was released earlier this year.

Tickets for Slint go on sale on Friday 13 June and will cost €28.
