UB40 set to play The Olympia Theatre Dublin in October

UB40 will play Dublin’s The Olympia Theatre on October 22nd 2014.

The band will include founding members Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, who will embark on a a much-awaited world tour. Excited UB40 fans have one more reason to get excited, as the band have announced a new album, due for release later this year.

In March, this year, UB40 played Dublin’s The Academy. However, it was not the same UB40 we’ll be seeing in October. In 2008 founding member and frontman Ali Campbell left the band, followed by Astro and Mickey Virtue. The UB40 that played The Academy in March is led by Duncan Campbell, Ali’s brother.
