Five years ago today, Michael Jackson passed away, leaving the whole world in grief.

The King of Pop had an immense contribution to the world of music, inspired millions and released a great number of hits.

On June 25th 2009, Michael Jackson died in his mansion in LA, but his music is very much alive even today. Michael was rehearsing for a series of concerts that were set to take place in London. The comeback tour, titled “This Is It”, never happened, unfortunately.

In 2006, Michael visited Ireland and spent some time in a studio located in Westmeath where, together with Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas, recorded some new songs. Check out an interview Access Hollywood filmed in Ireland with Michael Jackson in the Westmeath studio.
