Spirit of Folk Festival reveals the lineup for 2014
Spirit of Folk Festival is set to take place in Dunderry Park, Co Meath between 19 – 21 September. Acts from Ireland and The UK will take to the stage in the idyllic surroundings of the venue.
Kíla, Tupelo, Dan Walsh, In Their Thousands, Dan Amor, The Emerald Armada, Owensie, Carriages, Lynched, Bunoscionn, DANI, Leading Armies, Coscan, Mo Hat Mo Gheansaí, Elk, Juhn Echo, Liam Quinn, Stephen James, Na Tonnta, Wicker Bones, Corner Boy, Catherine Hatt, Oisin McCole, Laura Ann Brady, Ailbhe Reddy,Darren Lynch, Rob Corcoran, Tommy Hayes & Mattu Noone, and Old Hannah and more to be announced
The festival will also include storytelling and poetry reading by Pat Speight, Eddie Lenihan, Aideen Mc Bride as well as talks and workshops on ancient druidism and shamanism; African song and dance workshops; yoga; ancient astronomy and bushcraft.
The launch of the festival will take place on August 16th in Whelan’s. The night will be entitled ‘We are made of Star Stuff’ and will see talks by an astronomer, theatre makers and artists as well as musical performances by Leading Armies, Stephen James, Carriages, and Bunoscionn of ‘Trad side of the Moon’.
- Early Bird weekend tickets priced €65 and day tickets priced €40 will be available until August 16th
- Weekend tickets will cost €70 and day tickets will cost €50 from August 17th
