Dublin Concerts wants you to join the team
We’ve just turned 2, and we don’t want to stop here.
Dublin Concerts has grown rapidly since 2012 and we are looking forward to developing new projects and to continue supporting the Irish music scene. All of us are volunteers here, but this doesn’t stop us from working hard and doing what we love.
We are currently in need of a few passionate and creative people that can help us continue the journey, and do even more great things.
Here’s a little bit more about what we’re looking for and how you can apply:
Interviewers
We are seeking people that would be able to do face to face, phone and email interviews. Being a good listener, having a pleasant attitude, and spontaneity are key in a successful face to face or phone interview.
Writers (music news, albums/EPs and gig reviews)
Whether you have a background in Journalism, English, Music or you are just a music lover, this position may be for you. Enthusiasm, interest in music/writing and dedication are some of the most important things for this position.
Plenty of gigs are taking place in Dublin every week, and we’d like to cover as many as possible, from small gigs in cosy pubs, to big concerts at the big venues.
New albums and EPs are released every week, and we’d love to help the bands spread the word about their great work.
We get new albums/EPs to be reviewed sometimes even before they are released.
International and local music news are announced every day, so you need to keep your ears peeled and be involved in the music industry.
If you think you’d be a good writer/interviewer and would like to join the team, please get in touch.
Send an email to hello[at]dublinconcerts.ie stating what position(s) you are applying for, together with a few words about you and why you’d like to join us. If you have any writing experience, please let us know about it, and send us a link/source where your work can be seen. If you don’t, write a short review of an album you like, and send it to us.
Everyone is volunteering at Dublin Concerts, so all the positions above are unpaid. However, we can offer other great benefits as an award winning music publication.
