Laura Marling to play Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and Belfast’s Waterfront this May

Laura Marling announces two Irish shows at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and Belfast’s Waterfront this May.

Ahead of the release of her fifth album, “Short Movie”, Laura confirms live dates at the Olympia Theatre on May 7th, and at the Waterfront on May 8th, 2015.

The 25 years old singer-songwriter’s album “Short Movie” is due for release on March 20th, and it’s the fifth one in seven years. Impressive!

Speaking of the album, Laura says: “I realised that I hadn’t been in place for longer than two or three weeks since I was 16”. “I thought I wonder what will happen if I try and root myself somewhere? Look back over the past eight years”.

Tickets for Laura Marling go on sale this Friday, February 20th, at 9am, and are priced as follows:

7 May – Olympia Theatre, Dublin – Tickets from €27
