Kid Ink to play Vicar Street this October

Kid Ink has just confirmed his return to Irish shores to play Dublin’s Vicar Street on 13th October 2015.

It’s been less than a year since the rapper performed a mind blowing debut sold out show at the same venue, and now he reveals details about another visit to Dublin.

Kid Ink released a new studio studio album, Full Speed, earlier this year, which is the third one from the artist. The single ‘Body Language’ from the album is featuring Usher and Tinashe.

“My background producing contributes so much to my own music”, Brian Todd Collins aka Kid Ink admits. “I feel like I have a different ear because of that. I’m always aiming for a bigger sound and a bigger look. Instead of focusing on just a verse or simply spitting, I’ll tackle the melody or harmony and build from there. Then, I make sure what I’m saying matches. There’s got to be continuity. At the same time, I like to twist everything up a little bit.”

Tickets for Kid Ink at Vicar Street, priced €30 (including booking fee), go on sale this Friday, 22nd May at 9am.
