Neon Atlas - Irish Band of the Week

Outside of Dublin, the music scene around the country is just as thriving. For instance, Cork has such strong musical credentials and bands coming from the rebel county are producing some of the best output the country has to offer. One such band are poised to take on the world again with the release of their second album Graffiti Reality next month. In anticipation of this release, this week’s Dublin Concerts Irish Band of the Week Neon Atlas have released their latest single from the forthcoming album, and it’s a belter.

With the album due to drop on 31 July, the band have set it up with the track ‘I Never Felt So Good’. A loud rousing intro greets you into this smooth Indie number. Cool, crisp vocals guide you through the three and a half minutes of the delightfully produced tune.

Following on from last year’s debut album Absolute Magnitude, the Cork boys were hard at work with several key shows and appearances across Ireland and the UK, including a stint in BBC studios for a performance for the Dermot O’Leary show.

In order to promote the upcoming release, the band are taking themselves on tour and have announced some tasty gigs for July, including Whelan’s in Dublin on the 16th, Galway Fringe on the 17th, and finally in Pine Lodge in Myrtleville, Cork. You can catch up with the guys on Facebook, Twitter, and their official website.
