Choice Music Prize - Irish Album Of The Year 2015 Shortlist

The 11th annual Choice Music Prize shortlist for Irish Album of the Year 2015 (in association with IMRO and IRMA) was announced this afternoon.

The winner of the Album of the Year will be announced in Vicar Street at the Choice Music Prize live event on Thursday, 3 March and will be broadcast live on Today FM. The album is chosen by a panel of twelve judges consisting of Irish media professionals and industry experts.

The albums shortlisted are as follows:

Le GalaxieLe Club (Universal Music Ireland)

Roisin MurphyHairless Toys (PIAS)

SoakBefore We Forgot How To Dream (Rough Trade)

VillagersDarling Arithmetic (Domino)

Young WonderBirth (Feel Good Lost)

Tickets for the Choice Music Prize live event are on sale now at a cost of €25.50.

The shortlist for The Choice Music Prize – Irish Song of the Year 2015 will be announced on Wednesday, 27 January at a special event featuring exclusive performances from both Album of the Year and Song of The Year nominees and will be held in The Workman’s Club, Dublin.
