Ciara Sheahan

Ciara is addicted to music. An indie rock and roll heritage formed her initial leanings towards New Order, Morrissey, David Bowie, Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, Blur, Suede, Electronic, REM & The Manics. We suspect Ciara is a closet Country and Western fan, having spent a childhood exposed to Dolly, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Patsy Clyne and Willie Nelson. Over enthusiastic volunteering to cover Leonard Cohen has yet to be explained.

Ciara holds a Degree in Journalism from The University of Sheffield where she developed a fondness for all things Northern English. This includes Pulp, Richard Hawley, Elbow, The Human League, Tony Bennett, Prefab Sprout, Moloko but definitely not Girls Aloud. Ciara has been to so many gigs that she knows almost every security man between the 02 and The Olympia. She has been spotted with pink feathers at barriers in Electric Picnic, T in the Park, Phoenix Park, Hyde Park, Hop Farm Festival, Wembley, Isle of Wight and the much acclaimed Cambridge Folk Festival. Her not so guilty pleasure is The Killers. Ciara considers herself the Irish Ambassador for The Killers. “Irish blood Killers heart, this I’m made of” will be her epitaph.

Ciara is also the founder of Skinnie Minnie Ireland.
