Champagne Animal performed at The Mercantile on Arthur’s day. We were there for a couple of songs and got some snaps. Hope you like them.

Champagne Animal was founded in 2010 by Siobhan Lynch (Lead Vocal), grand-daughter of Bobby Lynch of the Dubliners. The band launched their first album in 2011 and had many appearances at festivals such as Electric Picnic, Indiependence, Vantastival and in many venues around the country.

The band has changed since 2010, but it seems they found the perfect formula: Siobhan Lynch – Lead Vocals, Frank McKenna – Bass, Daragh Armstrong – Drums.

The Mercantile was full on Arthur’s Day and people were clearly enjoying the set. We were there for just a couple of songs but we would love to see them again. In the meantime enjoy one of their songs, a set of photos and if you want to know more about  Champagne Animal, check their website and Facebook page.
