The performers are The Far Flung Trio, Malachy Robinson (bass player), Katherine Hunka (violinist) and Dermot Dunne (accordionist), all superlative leaders in their musical fields. They will present the music of Biber and Offenbach, Dermot will present his arrangement of the Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor (the super famous one!) and Malachy will also moonlight in a different format, a Rossini duet with fomer Kaleidoscope Artist in Residence, cellist Bill Butt. Bassist Neil O Loghlen and harpist Laura Perrudin will be also playing some exciting jazz/trad fusion material on the night.
