A new three-day festival of classical music has been announced in the charming village of Monkstown, Music in Monkstown.

The festival will take place between September 12th – 14th and will feature four concerts over the three days in Monkstown Parish Church, and the programmes range from solo piano to string quartets, operatic arias and chamber music by composers such as Chopin, Mozart, Brahms, Beethoven, Rossini, Verdi, Debussy and more.

Tickets for individual events are €20 with a special once off for all 4 concerts for €65. Single-concert family tickets are €50.

Opera Afternoon: Claudia Boyle (soprano) and Gavan Ring (baritone)
Operatic Arias and duets, favourite songs and melodies

Navarra String Quartet: music by Mozart, Vasks & Ravel.

Sunday September 14th at 7.30pm
RIAM Chamber Ensemble: music by Brahms, Beethoven, Poulenc & Debussy
