The Amsterdam based trio The Nordanians are much more than a mere virtuosic dutch act. The instrumentation alone; viola, guitar and tabla invites its own intriguing story. This is band who deftly defy genre labels because they sit at the intersections of jazz, chamber, and Indian classical music, driven by a hyper-syncopated funk aesthetic that elevates this trio above the pale. Expect fireworks, deft u-turns, cinematic tearjerkers and some solid beats from this explosive live trio.
