Here is our first review of KnockanStockan 2013.

As the sun sets behind the Wicklow mountains, Croupier take the stage with an electric buzz in the warm summer air. The audience members sporting wellies, wool-wear and the occasional fur coat soon have their feet stamping to the upbeat and energetic music that the boys are playing. Croupier play some songs off their upcoming fourth studio album that has a 2 Door Cinema Club feel to it with an edgier sound and electric kick.

As their new single ‘Power Up’ is played the crowd go wild, stamping their feet and swishing their heads in time to the music. All in all, the boys played a very upbeat and well received set that didn’t have the energy of the crowd dipping for even an instant. There was an audible mumble in the air as the boys finished their last song and began to make their way off the stage, they definitely set the bar high for their fellow bands over the coming weekend!
