Dermot Kennedy New Single - Shelter

Dermot Kennedy has released his new single ‘Shelter’. The Wicklow musician set out as a solo artist in late 2014, and he since played sold out shows in The Workman’s Club, Upstairs at Whelan’s as well as Dublin’s Unitarian Church. Kennedy has performed to audiences at both Electric Picnic and The Other Voices Music Trail in 2015, as well as being invited to the stage at a sold out Glen Hansard show. Kennedy is steadily rising as one of Ireland’s most promising singer songwriters.

‘Shelter’ highlights Kennedy’s distinct soulful vocals, that showcase the expressive and captivating nature of the song lyrics. Starting as an intricate piano ballad, ‘Shelter’ slowly builds up to a fast-paced crescendo before ending on a slower note.

Kennedy has announced his largest headline show to date on 15 April at Dublin’s Sugar Club as well as a debut UK headline performance on 5 April at Servant Jazz Quarters, London.

To keep up to date with Declan Kennedy he can be followed on Facebook and Soundcloud, as well as on his website at www.dermotkennedymusic.com.
