Empire Circus at Whelan’s – Photos
Empire Circus played Upstairs at Whelan’s last Thursday, June 27th.
The show in Whelan’s was, though intimate, very entertaining. The four lads enjoyed each song and danced throughout the set, just as they did a couple of weeks ago at The Workman’s Club.
“There Is A Light” was clearly the highlight of the night, since it seemed that everyone knew it by heart. Another great tune, “True Believer”, followed and the people were already dancing. The band then played a great cover of The National’s “Bloodbuzz Ohio”.
As we’ve said before, we think Empire Circus are going to grow fast and their tunes will soon be enjoyed by a bigger and bigger fan-base.
If you want to catch them live, head to Voodoo Lounge on July 19th. Empire Circus and TouchWood will support Kodaline in a very intimate gig.
