Korpiklaani at The Button Factory (photos)

KorpiklaaniMetal was the word of the evening in The Button Factory last Sunday as finnish rock band Korpiklaani had a very well received concert.

Korpiklaani started playing in 20 years ago as Shaman Duo. In 1996 the band changed their name to Shaman and since 2003 they play under the name of Korpiklaani (Finish for ‘wild clan’).

In their long and successful career, the band released 11 studio albums, including “Manala”, their latest, released in 2012. At the end of January, Korpiklaani began their first European tour of the year, a tour that includes 24 concerts all over Europe. Supporting act on this tour comes from Estonian band Metsatöll.

Korpiklaani offered an awesome show at The Button Factory, with great atmosphere and energy, treating the audience with Vodka, Tequila and Pints, three of their most famous tunes! A very well delivered show which still managed to feel like genuine fun for them, as well as for the audience.

Find out more about Korpiklaani on their official website.
