Metsatoll at The Button Factory (photos)

MetsatollMetsatöll supported Korpiklaani at The Button Factory last Sunday (February 3rd).

Formed in 1999 in Estonia, Metsatöll started playing heavy metal as a trio. With time their style changed as they matured and their music started to incorporate more and more elements from the Estonian folklore. The name Metsatöll is an estonian word for wolf and it’s just one of the things that shows the band’s connection with Estonia’s roots.

Metsatöll did a fantastic job as opening act, playing any instruments for their Irish fans, making didgeridoo sounds with their voices and even talking in Estonian with the crowd!

Find out more about the band on their website and on Facebook.
