The Shaolin Warriors at The Olympia Theatre – Photos
The Shaolin Warriors performed at The Olympia Theatre last night, July 5th.
The 22 Kung Fu masters brought their brand new show “Return of the Master” to Dublin.
The Shaolin Warriors are not a band, so it might seem a bit strange to see photos from their show here, on DublinConcert.ie. We love all things entertaining, so we thought we should share our experience with you.
Imagine how hard it must be to stand on just your index fingers, to balance on a few spear tips or to break a thick metal bar with your head. The dozen or so The Shaolin Warriors did just that last night at The Olympia for about two hours. The show was a spectacular display of martial arts, strength and all sorts of weapons including swords, spears, whips, fans and the traditional and deadly… chopsticks.
Another highlight of the evening was seeing one of the performers lying down on nothing but three sharp sword blades, with a nail-filled board on his stomach and another guy on top of that. Impressive, right? That’s not all. Picture a large, two-inch thick concrete tile broken on top of the two lads, broken with a sledgehammer.
Overall the performance was truly impressive, even though the children were probably more impressed than the adults. If you have kids, take them to see The Shaolin Warriors. They might be invited onto the stage and that will surely make their day. Don’t worry, no swords or spears will be around with the children on the stage.
The Shaolin Wariors have three more shows in Dublin on July 5th, the 6th and the 7th, so if you’re in the mood for some mind-blowing show, do check them out!
Tickets, priced from €23.50, are on sale from Ticketmaster.
