One such band not afraid of a bit of heavy lifting, are Youth Mass, this week’s Dublin Concerts Irish Band of the Week.
Hailing from the historic town of Trim in County Meath, the four lads have had a quick and exciting rise to prominence, including the inclusion of their 2012 track ‘Tony Don’t You Worry’ on the original soundtrack of the movie ‘Playback’ starring Christian slater. With the compliments flowing from numerous critics and radio stations the next step was always going to be important. But 2014 was the big one. The release of their eagerly awaited debut album ‘Morning Run|Evening Sun’ which charted in the Top 10 of the Irish album Charts, the signing to Pickled Onion Records and several TV and radio appearances.

The rest of the year has been spent touring the country and they are just coming to the end of a big 15 date national tour with one final gig in Whelan’s in Dublin this Saturday 20th December.
