The Hot Sprockets @ Jack of Diamonds Festival (photos)

The Hot Sprockets rocked The Workman’s club on Friday night! The venue was full of people enjoying every minute of the gig. Making our way towards the stage to grab a few snaps was not easy, but it was worth it. This was our first Hot Sprockets concert although they played Knockanstockan this year (we missed so many great band there! ). Their music makes you want to just forget about everything and enjoy your holiday. And then you realize you’re in a pub in Dublin city centre and Monday is just two days away. But for that hour when you jump along with the band with a pint in your hand you feel you’re on holiday.

Their country & blues influenced rock was featured on Bulmers commercials and BBC shows and they were nominated for “Best video” & “Best group” at the Irish Music Television Awards.

The band members:

  • Soper – Guitar and Vocals
  • Tim – Guitar and Vocals
  • Frankie – Harmonica and Vocals
  • Joe – Bass and Vocals
  • Andy – Drums
More info about them on their website, Facebook page and Twitter profile.

“Honey Skipping” is their debut album, released in May 2011 with great reviews. Enjoy one of their songs and a set of photos from their performance at The Workman’s Club.
